University of Barcelona’s EtnoBioFiC research group is devoted to all aspects of plant diversity and genome evolution as well as ethnobotany, the overlap of social and natural sciences. The team has experience in topics related to literature, art and botany. And in 2019 it organized the international workshop "HerbArt –Art and Science at Confluence", where artists and botany researchers met to share processes and identify territories of interdisciplinary collaboration.

University of Barcelona’s and Botanical Institute of Barcelona’s EtnoBioFiC

University of Barcelona’s Poció. Art, Poetry and Education research group is specialized in investigating and studying the characteristics of experimental poetry and the links with other forms of literature, with music and with the plastic arts, especially totally hybrid genres such as art books.
In 2019, both research groups organized the international conference "HerbArt - Art and Science in Confluence", in which artists and botanical researchers met to share processes and identify territories for interdisciplinary collaboration.
